A small team. A neutral protocol. A long horizon.
Karvhood is independent and self-funded. We build infrastructure that we want to depend on ourselves.
Most of what passes for "AI infrastructure" today is a thin wrapper around someone else's API. That model breaks the moment software starts acting on its own behalf. The agentic economy needs neutral rails, not a new layer of intermediaries.
Karvhood exists to keep that layer open. Our incentive is to ship a protocol so simple and so widely adopted that no single company — including ours — can capture it.
- → Specs over platforms.
- → Audits over announcements.
- → Defaults that respect the operator.
- → Small surface, long memory.
- → Optimize for the agent that hasn't been written yet.
- 2024Initial research on agent-led settlement. First internal prototypes.
- 2025 Q2Karvhood mesh v0 deployed across two regions. SDK alpha.
- 2025 Q4Privacy layer (RFC-011) finalized. First external integrations.
- 2026 Q1Karvhood Pay 1.0 ships. Validator and CLI go stable.
- 2026 Q2Adaptive burns activate. SDK v1.0 reaches feature parity across runtimes.
We are open about what we are building and what we are not. The roadmap, the RFC track, and the network metrics are public. We do not maintain a press list and we do not solicit endorsements.
If you are building something interesting on Karvhood, the best path is to ship — and then publish what you learned.
